Therefor it is vital to properly check, clean, use and maintain your saddlery products.

Beware of the signs of excessive wear in both leather and other materials used, such as stiffness, cracking, stretching, elongated holes, change of shape, dryness, limpness, excessive stretch or wear, loose or worn stitching, loose screws, etc.

Even hardware needs to be checked, cleaned and maintained before each use.

Make sure to properly fit your product, as an ill-fitting product can cause discomfort, soreness and even injury to the horse. Make sure you use the correct size and attach your products correctly. When in doubt, ask a professional for assistance.
